If you fancy a golfing break then the English Riviera will provide you with the perfect round! With everything from pirate-themed crazy golf to 18 world-class holes with stunning views across the Bay, the English Riviera has all your golf needs down to a tee.

From 18 hole championship standard courses to Pitch and Putt, Cayman Golf, Crazy Golf and everything in between, there's something for everyone and then some. The area is blessed with stunning geographical features and views and the golf facilities in the area certainly use these to their full and spectacular potential.

Torquay Golf Club

Torquay Golf Club boasts a delightful parkland course, with stunning views over Lyme Bay, Torbay and even Dartmoor and Hay Tor in the distance. The course is conveniently located in St. Marychurch and is a challenge for experienced golfers, keen to enjoy a round before enjoying a well-earned social bevy at the 19th hole. The 18-hole course, with a 69/72 par dates back almost 100 years and is certainly a course not to be missed by visiting golfers craving a refreshing round in dramatic surroundings. Handicap certificates are required.

Churston Golf Club

Churston Golf Club is situated in a staggering position on the top of the cliffs at the western end of Torbay. Lying midway between Paignton and Brixham, the ground is boldly undulating in character and packed with natural features. However, it's the views that are the real champions, making this one of the most stunning courses in the UK. The 18-hole course is par 70 and provides an excellent test of golf, both for single-figure and higher handicap golfers.

Cayman Golf Club

For something a tad different, why not try Cayman Golf on the outskirts of Brixham. Cleverly designed to create a 18 hole (par 71) golf course in just 9 acres of picturesque Devon countryside, it's a unique take on pitch 'n' putt and is fun for all the family. Special 'Cayman' golf balls are used, which reward the player for accuracy rather than distance and makes a fun and healthy way to waste a memorable few hours of your holiday.
